I thought this game would be closer, but Kansas broke it open in the second half and went on to win 60-43.  The young Jayhawks take on Michigan St. next week in Sweet 16 action.

Sherron Collins led Kansas with 25 points, and the Jayhawks shut down Dayton stars Chris Wright and Marcus Johnson.  The duo shot a combined 5-27 from the field in the loss.

Dayton will be back next season, as the Flyers return almost every player from this year’s squad.
