Ben Gordon questionable for game 5 tonight

Gordon is not expected to play Tuesday night in Boston.

Gordon will be a game-time decision for game 5 Tuesday night in Boston.

The Chicago Bulls signed Lindsey Hunter early in the season with the idea of using the 38 year-old as a tutor for Derrick Rose.  Now, he may be forced to play a prominent role alongside Rose in the backcourt.

ESPN reported this afternoon that Bulls G Ben Gordon may not play tonight against the Celtics in game 5 of the first round matchup.

Gordon suffered a strained hamstring in the second quarter of game 4, and is officially listed as day-to-day.

Apparently he has not responded positively to treatment.  He is expected to dress for the game, but may see limited action.

Gordon’s loss means Hunter and former Florida Gator Anthony Roberson will see minutes tonight, along with veteran Linton Johnson.

The Bulls could also go big and move Tyrus Thomas to the three, but that seems unlikely.

Stay tuned for more updates, and enjoy tonight’s games.

  1. Hey you have some nice articles on this site. I recently started a website called where amateur writers can write sports articles and win awards and prizes.

In fact, on June 15th we are giving out an $100 dollar prize for the best sports article.

I would love it if you joined our site. You can link your articles back to your site, which would also help you out.
