Ron Artest talks about his Game 2 ejection

As soon as things between the Lakers and Rockets started to get testy, I began to watch Ron Artest closely. It took a little while, but he eventually snapped after Kobe Bryant threw his elbow into his throat while fighting for a rebound.

The refs missed it during the game, but today the NBA assigned a Flagrant 1 to Kobe. No action will be taken against Artest, setting up what should be a very entertaining Game 3 Friday night in Houston.

Here is Artest on his ejection following Wednesday’s game:

I think Artest was justified for going after Kobe. As a NBA fan, I’m glad he didn’t completely loose his mind. Maybe he has finally grown up.

Probably not.
