Not many NBA fans, myself included, expected the Magic to get within a game of the NBA finals. But after four games, it’s clear the Magic are the superior team.
Rafter Alston exploded for 26 points and Dwight Howard dominated inside once again to lead Orlando to a 116-114 OT win.
The Magic can close out the series with a victory Thursday in Cleveland.
The Cavs role players played better in Game 4, but the Cavs still struggled to get big stops and still have no answer to the Magic’s pick n’ roll game.
I thought LeBron was awful tonight.
He held the ball too long late in the game, refused to take jumpers, and forced the ball into the paint.
He finished with eight turnovers in the game – to go along with 44 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
LeBron was also matched up against Alston during the third quarter, when Rafer scored 15 points against little resistance.
With Howard inside and timely shooting, the Magic has vastly outplayed the Cavs in the series.
If you think about it, Cleveland was lucky to win a single game against Orlando.
