CBSSportsline.com reported Wednesday former Memphis F Robert Dozier was denied admission to Georgia because of a “fishy” SAT score.
Dozier originally committed to Memphis while in high school, but changed his mind and signed with his state school.
He was forced to attend prep school in 2004 after Georgia officials flagged his SAT. The school asked Dozier to re-take the test, and wasn’t convinced the same person took the second test.
Dozier was admitted to Memphis after a year in prep school, and helped the Tigers to one of the best four-year records in NCAA history.
This story isn’t completely developed yet and is already providing more embarrassment to Memphis.
Saturday, the NCAA infractions committee is scheduled to hear the findings of Memphis’ recently completed internal investigation regarding the Derrick Rose’s SAT flap and allegations the school provided transportation to his brother, Reggie.
