Derrick Rose took a big step towards superstardom in Friday night’s 115-104 victory against Steve Nash and the Suns. Playing with unusual aggresion and emotion, D Rose deflowered poor Goran Dragic in transition:
You gotta love Rose’s reaction, “Wow, wow.” Even Tyrus Thomas woke up and showed some excitement, probably because he was credited with an assist on the play.
Rose finished with 32 points, five assists, and no turnovers in 43 minutes. He burned the Suns in the first half with several jumpers and made several huge shots in the second half. Nash played only 33 minutes and had a quiet 8 points and 7 dimes.
D Rose has played more assertively in recent weeks and seems to finally realize the Bulls are his team. The injury to Mo Williams could open the door for Rose to make the All-Star squad this year.
