Josh Smith is starting to figure out how good he actually is if he plays within himself. That could spell trouble for the rest of the Eastern Conference as the playoffs continue. It certainly has created plenty of problems for the undermanned Bucks.
Smith scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out nine assists to lead the Hawks to a 96-86 victory over the Bucks Tuesday in Hotlantana.
Joe Johnson scored 26 for the Hawks, and Al Horford added 20.
Brandon Jennings wasn’t a factor after a brilliant Game 1. The rook scored just nine points on 3-of-15 shooting.
The Bucks had a great year, but they just don’t have enough weapons. The Hawks should be able to finish Milwaukee in four games.
